EU Relocation Support: The EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme
If you’re moving from Spain or another EU country to work in an Irish crèche, you may be eligible for financial support through the EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (previously known in Spain as ‘Tu primer trabajo EURES’).
What it can help with: depending on the scheme available, support may cover travel to job interviews, relocation and living costs, language courses, and qualification recognition.
The most important rule: apply before you move. The application must be made before your job starts and before you leave your home country. If you move first, you may lose the chance to apply.
How to apply (in Spain): contact a EURES adviser at SEPE in your province. They’ll check whether you’re eligible and guide you through the application. The job usually needs to be at least half-time.
