Childcare Practitioner Jobs in Ireland
Childcare practitioner is one of the most common job titles in Irish crèches, and it means much the same as early years educator. Childcare practitioners care for babies, toddlers and preschool children, plan play-based activities and observe each child’s development. They also keep parents up to date. Most crèches ask for at least a Level 5 early childhood qualification, with Level 6 or above for room leader roles. Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta and Children First training will strengthen your application. See our salary guide for current pay rates.
